  Direct Actual Quote: "Serving God in jeans is disrespectful."
  Brought it up with the Pastor hoping I had just been misinformed about the policy or it's reasons, was told in a very condescending manner I couldn't possibly understand what the Bible had to say about jeans until I went to more consistant Sunday morning services.
  
  I feel my 6 years of successful Christian ministry leadership experience (mostly performed in jeans) more than qualified me to decide that I didn't need to buy a new wardrobe to get lectured by Pharisees on an even more regular basis.
  
  We left and found a home church where we don't have to be afraid to bring our poorer friends, and where we don't get judged for being too disabled to consistently meet imaginary attendance requirements.
