  I found my home away from home here. Amazing Parish priest, lovely community, the parishioners warmth can cheer you up on Iowa's coldest winter night. As an international grad student, nothing beats coming here weekly to experience a sense of communion and get that little emotional boost to face the coming week.

  Absolutely incredible Parish! I had the deepest growth in my Faith journey while at STA as a student at ISU. What I would give to replicated STA in the parishes we have belonged to in different states since. Such a blessing to the Ames and ISU community!

  I became a Catholic here, my wife became a Catholic here, we met and got married here, our children were baptized here, my wife's cremains are in the STA columbarium and I work here as the parish secretary.

  My oldest daughter was baptized at St Thomas Aquinas, I ran the nursery, so parents of the young could enjoy mass worry free.

  Brought our Muslim and Buddhist exchange students here for Christmas Eve 2015 so they could experience an American Catholic celebration (we are Lutheran). Both we and our students were made to feel very welcome, and the sermon was spectacular.
